National Resources

- American Society on Aging - A professional organization working towards enhancing the knowledge and skills of those working with older adults and their families
- Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) - AGHE was established in 1974 to advance gerontology as a field of study in institutions of higher learning.
- Gerontological Society of America (GSA) - Promoting the study of aging for 54 years.
- National Council on Aging (NCOA) - Founded in 1950, the National Council on Aging (NCOA) is dedicated to improving the health and independence of older persons and increasing their continuing contributions to communities, society, and future generations.
- National Council on Seniors Drug & Alcohol Rehab - Provides information, resources, and treatment for care providers and seniors battling addiction and related conditions.
- National Institute on Aging (NIA) - One of the National Institutes of Health, the NIA promotes healthy aging by conducting and supporting biomedical, social, and behavioral research and public education.

Southwest Florida Resources
Toggle More Info- Alzheimer's Association - Florida Gulf Coast Chapter - The Alzheimer's Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter serves 16 counties with education and support as well as raising funds for research.
- Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida - The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida (AAASWFL) is a nonprofit organization serving older adults (age 60-up) and adults with disabilities serving Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Sarasota counties.
- The Dubin Center - The Dubin Center has been providing dementia-specific programs in our community for over three decades.
- Baker Senior Center Naples - Baker Senior Center Naples offers programs and services at their senior center that include dementia respite support, geriatric case management, mental health services and a food pantry.
- Bonita Senior Center - Center programs include education, health screenings, exercise and wellness programs, travel, social activities, computer training, nutritionally balanced congregate senior lunch program.
