Honors Student Leadership
The Honors College encourages students to grow as leaders, within the Honors College, Florida Gulf Coast University and the community. Student leadership opportunities in the Honors College include leading as an Honors Ambassador, Executive Board Representative, House Leader on the Student Leadership Council, and Mentor. A large part of my time at FGCU has been centered around my experience as an Honors Mentor and I wouldn't have it any other way! The Honors College Ambassadors (A - Team) represent the Honors College through service at recruitment, admission and community events.

Honors Exec Board Student Representatives serve as the student voice on the Honors Exec Board (HEB), faculty that help set the Honors College curricula and policies.

Student Leadership Council
The House Leaders build and strengthen the Honors student community, encourage co-curricular activities through a point system, and establish deeper bonds of mentorship among students and faculty/staff.
Mentors
Honors Mentors work with first-year Honors students to help with the transition to FGCU and the Honors College. Mentors serve as a resource for university transition, involvement ideas, academic skill advice and more.

Leadership on Campus
Honors College students also serve in leadership roles across campus as Residential Assistants (RA), tutors, supplemental instruction leaders, registered student organization leadership and more. Honors Students are encouraged to explore the Leadership Element of Honors as it fits their interests and goals.
