We also offer a Political Science and Peace & Social Justice minors, and certificates in Planning and Local Government Management. The BA program in Political Science is designed to provide students with the analytical tools needed to address local, regional, state and national public policy issues, as well as to achieve their career objectives.

A degree in Political Science can aid student’s career pursuits in local, state, national, and international government, research, and lobbying for business and non-profit organizations, and public interest work for community service organizations. The degree also provides an excellent foundation for students who intend to pursue graduate study in law, public administration or public policy.

The program is supported by an active External Relations Council who assist in keeping our courses relevant and important to the community.
