How Can I Get a Scholarship From FGCU?

The Scholarship Application for the Spring 2024 Term Will Be Available September 25 to November 26, 2023.

Paying for college can seem like a daunting task, but there are tools to help make the experience more affordable. These scholarships are need based and are available for students registered for an Entrepreneurship or Digital Media Design Degree. Follow these easy steps, and you will be on your way to obtaining a scholarship towards your degree.

2024-2025 Academic Year Scholarship Applications

For the 2024-2025 academic year, all students interested in scholarships must apply through the University Foundation.

The application opens annually from October 1st – May 1st.

Students must be an Entrepreneurship or Digital Media Design major in order to be eligible for a scholarship.

- Work on your new business venture in our Runway Program Student Incubator
- Meet with the Entrepreneurship Faculty, Staff, and Mentors
- Be sure to get your assignments done on time, be prepared for class, and get involved in class activities.

The FGCU Foundation Scholarship Application is available annually until May 1st. Students who apply by January 1st of each will be given priority. Completing a FAFSA application is not required for FGCU Foundation scholarships; however, it is highly recommended in order to maximize eligibility for all need-based financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

FGCU Foundation Scholarships

The School of Entrepreneurship offers its own, additional opportunity for scholarships. After completing the FAFSA, you can be eligible for these opportunities. The SOE application will open March 1 for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Q: When is the scholarship awarded?

A: The scholarship is awarded by August 1 for fall semester, December 1 for spring semester, and April 1 for summer. Scholarships will only be awarded to enrolled students.

Q: Do I need to reapply for the scholarship each semester?

A: Yes. For the Spring 2024 semester, the scholarship application will open September 25th and the application will close November 26, 2023.
