About OIEC

Precious is the designated Chief Compliance Officer for the University which includes oversight of the University’s compliance and ethics program. This includes coordinating the University’s efforts to adhere to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Precious is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional through the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

Emily assists the Chief Equity, Ethics & Compliance Officer with administering the University's compliance and ethics programs. This includes sexual assault, harassment,  discrimination, retaliation, compliance and ethics investigations under Title IX, Title VII, the ADA, Title VI, and other State and Federal laws. Emily is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional through the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. 

Valery completes investigations, including sexual assault, harassment,  discrimination, and retaliation investigations under Title IX, Title VII, the ADA, Title VI, and other State and Federal laws. 

Kathryn completes investigations, including sexual assault, harassment,  discrimination, retaliation investigations under Title IX, Title VII, the ADA, Title VI, and other State and Federal laws. 

Waneka supports the Chief Equity, Ethics & Compliance Officer in managing the University's compliance and ethics programs. This includes providing training and education on sexual assault, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, Title IX, Title VII, ADA, Title VI, and other State and Federal regulations.

Liz gathers detailed information, assesses needs, and facilitates a timely investigation process during the initial stages of investigations, including sexual assault, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation investigations under Title IX, Title VII, the ADA, Title VI, and other State and Federal laws.

Ms. Lenora Lynam provides admnistrative support for the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance as well as the Office of the General Counsel.
