Education & Events

The Dendritic Institute offers a range of educational programs designed to equip students and professionals with the skills they need to excel in AI and Data Science. In addition, the institute has various signature events that aim at sharing knowledge related with AI/DS, and foster collaboration and engagement with the industry and other stakeholders.

Programs Overview

Our educational offerings include micro-credentials and badges in AI and Data Science. These programs are designed to provide hands-on experience with the latest tools and technologies in the field.

Formal Degrees

Formal bachelor's and master's degrees related with AI and DS are offered by the Department of Computing and Software Engineering at the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering, which has a bachelor's degree in computer science with concentrations in Cybersecurity and Data Science. A master's degree in computer science will be offered starting the spring of 2025. Dendritic is focused on developing micro-credentials and badges that complement the department’s portfolio.

Signature Events

Join us for our signature events, where experts from academia, government and industry share insights on the latest trends and developments in AI and Data Science.

Dendritic Meetup

A monthly gathering designed to foster community, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among AI and Data Science enthusiasts at the university and beyond, featuring guest speakers, networking activities, and project showcases​.

Dendritic Symposium

An annual event that provides a platform for AI and Data Science research dissemination, networking, and engagement with industry professionals, including keynote speeches, paper presentations, and interactive sessions to promote collaboration​.

Dendritic Industry Forum

A periodic forum aimed at strengthening partnerships between the Dendritic Institute and industry, featuring presentations, roundtable discussions, and workshops to explore collaborative projects and research initiatives​.
