Azul's Attire

Azul's Attire is located in the North Modular Village next to the Lee County / FGCU Aquatics center.

Access to the the service is on an appointment basis and must be prearranged with the Career Development Services office. You may schedule a visit to Azul's Attire through Appointment Manager.

Yes. A member of the Career Development Services office will be able to help you pick out a professional outfit if you need assistance. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have about coordinating professional dress for an interview or the workplace.

All of the clothing at Azul's Attire has been obtained through donation from members of the FGCU campus community and surrounding area.

Clothing Accepted (Must be freshly laundered)

• Feminine Professional Separates (including blouses, button up shirts, shells, blazers, jackets, slacks, skirts, & pant suites)
• Feminine Accessories (including gently used shoes, belts, handbags, jewelry, and watches)
• Masculine Professional Separates (including button up/down shirts, polo shirts, blazers, sport coats, suits, slacks, trousers, khaki pants)
• Masculine Accessories (including shoes, belts, ties, pocket squares, watches, cuff links, and tie bars)
• Scrubs / Uniforms
• NEW WITH TAGS dress socks, undershirts, and undergarments

Clothing Not Accepted

• No heavy wool or cold-climate clothing
• No clothing that has not been dry cleaned or laundered
• No loud or garish prints
• No ripped or stained clothing/shoes/accessories
• No clothing with broken zippers or missing buttons
• No clothing that does not reflect current professional styles or is considered out of date/season

Other Considerations

• The typical age range of our clients is 18-24-year-old college students who are seeking attire for interviews, internships, class presentations, and other business casual/formal events.
• Be mindful of allergies clients may have and ensure clothes exposed to common allergens (e.g. pet dander, smoke, etc.) are well cleaned and odor free.
• Clients utilize our service often for financial reasons. While clothing that requires dry cleaning after every wear may be professional, it can be inaccessible for our clients due to upkeep costs.
• If you would not wear it because of its condition, do not donate it to someone else who needs to make a good first impression when interviewing for a job.

If you are interested in donating new or clean, gently used professional clothing, please contact the Career Development Services office at careercenter@fgcu.edu to coordinate a drop off of your donation. We have a permanent donation box located in the Center for Career and Exploratory Advising that can be utilized at any time for small donations. You may also provide monetary donations using our donation form. Monetary donations will be used to support the maintenance of the physical space or to provide clothing in sizes or styles that may not be available from clothing donations.
