Kelly Boyd is the Business Manager I for the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. She is responsible for managing the daily operations for the Office of Academic Affairs, including finance, procurement, budget, human resources, contracts, and accounts payable. She also monitors assigned account balances & budget activity, initiates budget amendments, transfers and accounting adjustments. In addition, she provides administrative support for the Director of Operations for Academic Affairs and the Associate Provost and the Director of Military and Veteran Success.
Kelly is originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland and relocated to Florida in 2007; she joined Florida Gulf Coast University in 2019. Before coming to FGCU, she spent 28 years in the banking industry. After retiring from banking, she began her second career as an OPS employee in the Payroll Department at FGCU in April 2019, and then joined Academic Affairs in July 2019.
Andi Clemons
Andi Clemons is the Director, Academic Affairs, Administration and Budget. Ms. Clemons provides operational leadership within Academic Affairs and contributes to the development and implementation of organizational initiatives that support the strategic goals and objectives of the division. She is responsible for managing the Provost's budget and oversees Academic Affairs' financial activities and internal controls. In addition, she coordinates the academic appointments, faculty promotion, sabbatical, and professional development leave processes and manages faculty records within the Provost's Office. Andi serves as the liaison with other academic administration staff, University Budgets, and Human Resources to ensure the most efficient use of resources and assist with facilitating faculty/staff recruitment and hiring processes within the Division of Academic Affairs.
Andi joined Florida Gulf Coast University and Academic Affairs in January 2017. Prior to joining FGCU, her experiences included working in Financial Aid, Administrative Services, and Student Affairs. She has over fifteen years of experience in Higher Education in the private and public sectors. Andi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of Mount Saint Joseph and a Master of Arts in Integrated Studies with a focus on women's leadership from Northern Kentucky University. She is currently a student in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program at Florida Gulf Coast University with a concentration in higher education leadership.
Julie Eacho is the Executive Assistant to the Provost and Vice President for Academic
Affairs. She is responsible for providing high-level administrative assistance to
the Provost, including managing the Provost's calendar and commitments; acting as
the liaison to trustees, Cabinet, deans, department directors, faculty, staff, and
students; preparing travel arrangements; and coordinating Academic Affairs' annual
Celebration of Excellence Ceremony.
Julie is originally from Fayetteville, Georgia, and came to FGCU in July 2022. She
holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern University.
Prior to coming to FGCU, she spent eleven years as an Executive Assistant for Walmart
Inc. and seven years in administrative positions for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts.
She also spent three years at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the
Office of Research Services.
Kenda Letendre is an Administrative Specialist for the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs. She provides administrative support for Dr. Dawn Kirby, the Associate Provost for Academic Programs and Curriculum Development, including scheduling, correspondence, travel, and events. In addition, Kenda provides administrative support to the Office of Graduate Studies and serves as part of the Provost’s Office team, supporting the needs of the Academic Affairs division.
Kenda has grown up in Southwest Florida and came to FGCU after 30 years in the Veterinary Industry. She worked as a Hospital Administrator for the last 21 years here in Fort Myers. She enjoys being outdoors and is quite the animal lover, fur and scales included.
Kristin Toth
Kristin Toth is an Academic Personnel Coordinator for the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs. She is responsible for maintaining faculty files, completing data entry, assisting with Courtesy Faculty requests, delegating incoming mail, as well as assisting with the promotion, sabbatical, and professional development leave processes. In addition, she provides administrative support to the Collective Bargaining Team and Faculty Senate.
Kristin is from Port Charlotte, Florida, and relocated to Fort Myers when she began as a student at FGCU. She graduated in May 2021 from FGCU with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She joined the Academic Affairs team in 2018.
Rosario Welle is the marketing specialist in the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs. She provides support and routine guidance in marketing and communications, including assisting in the design, development, and implementation of media outreach strategies and communications initiatives, campaigns, and special projects. She has a bachelor’s in communication arts and a specialized graduate certificate in professional creative nonfiction writing from the University of Denver, and a professional certificate in translation studies (English to Spanish) from New York University. She is enrolled in the University of Denver’s Master of Arts in Communication Management with a concentration in Marketing Communication, expected graduation Spring of 2025.
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Rosario joined FGCU in March 2023 as communications assistant in the Office of the President. Prior to FGCU, she spent 8 years as the district translator for the Bilingual/ESL and communications department of Mesquite Independent School District in Texas and four years as a language access representative for Children’s Medical Center Dallas. She brings over 20 years of experience in institutional communications, specializing in education, marketing, public affairs, and healthcare for the US and LATAM regions.
