Dr. Price's scholarly expertise is centered in communication surrounding the rhetoric of gender and health. As a scholar, her work is primarily focused in transgender and gender diverse identity, representation, and health from mixed methods approaches utilizes qualitative, critical, and autoethnographic means of inquiry. Her research seeks to advocate for transgender and gender diverse folx, gender equity, and developing gender affirming practices in the classroom, in health care settings, and in day to day life. As an educator, she aims to empower students to critically analyze the world around them, identify systems of power and oppression, and offer them the tools to fight against repressive systems in day to day life.
