Saül Laguerre, originally from Haiti, immigrated to the United States in the early 2000s alongside his family, driven by the pursuit of a better life and education. At a very young age his parents instill the importance and the value of education. He earned an Associate's degree in Art from Edison State College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master of Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. His story is a reminder of his status as a first-Generation graduate, and he strives to inspire other first-generation students to see their potential in his experiences. Beyond the realm of education, Saül finds joy in quality family time, selective book reading, fitness efforts, and attending sporting events. Some of his favorite sporting teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami Heat. With a fervent passion for community growth, he dedicates his time to volunteering and providing support to community members in various capacities. He firmly upholds the belief that "two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed," emphasizing the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need.
