Brent Jackson is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Education in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). He obtained a B.A. in Environmental Studies and an M.S. in Environmental Science from FGCU, as well as a Ph.D. in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from North Carolina State University. Brent’s research interests include environmental education and the human dimensions of natural resources. He is particularly interested in research exploring the conservation and well-being benefits associated with spending time in nature.
