Dr. Shelby Gilbert came to FGCU in fall 2008 in the College of Education. After becoming Certified in Public Health (CPH), she joined the Marieb College of Health and Human Services to teach in the public health program in 2019. Her transdisciplinary experience provides a unique of social justice through the intersection of education and health and how it impacts the lives of people across the lifespan.
