Hall, Sean (Ph.D.)
Dr. Sean Hall earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from FGCU. He later completed his doctorate at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Counseling with an emphasis on both quantitative research methods and advanced group counseling techniques. Dr. Hall’s research interests focus on helping to improve both the experience and effectiveness of mental health counseling for clients presenting with complex mental health needs. Prior to his return to FGCU, Dr. Hall served as a faculty member and clinic director in the Department of Human Services at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Hall is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), where he currently serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Mental Health Counseling.
