    Mark Komives is a PGA Professional originally from Medina, Ohio. Mark earned a BBA in PGA Golf Management from Campbell University with Summa Cum Laude honors. During his time at Campbell, he served three terms as a board member of the PGM Student Association, volunteered as a School of Business student mentor, and was recognized by the faculty for his academic achievement with a Senior Award of Excellence.

    Mark brings a diverse background of work experience in the golf industry, having completed PGM internships at TPC Potomac at Avenal Farm in Potomac, MD; Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy in Orlando, FL; and Boyne Golf Academy and Resorts in Harbor Springs, Michigan. He has also taught professionally with Impact Zone Golf in Naples, Florida and most recently served as an Assistant Golf Professional at Winchester Country Club in Boston, MA.

    Mark is a passionate golf instructor who has mentored under multiple Top 50 and Top 100 teachers. He is recognized as a junior golf development expert having worked in top academy and private club junior programs, and holds Level 3 certificates from the Titleist Performance Institute as a Golf Instructor and Junior Golf Coach. He is also certified in the Operation 36 junior development platform, as well as with Trackman, SAM PuttLab, BodiTrak, and Swing Catalyst teaching technologies. His personal research interests include biomechanical 3D swing analysis and short game specific technique and training regimens.

    Mark enjoys the great outdoors in his free time and can often be found backpacking or traveling when away from the course. In his role at FGCU as a PGM Program Specialist, he believes in challenging students to develop holistically in academic and professional disciplines in order to best prepare them to grow the game and business of golf for the next generation.
