Julie Eacho is the Executive Assistant to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She is responsible for providing high-level administrative assistance to the Provost, including managing the Provost's calendar and commitments; acting as the liaison to trustees, Cabinet, deans, department directors, faculty, staff, and students; preparing travel arrangements; and coordinating Academic Affairs' annual Celebration of Excellence Ceremony.

Julie is originally from Fayetteville, Georgia, and came to FGCU in July 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern University. Prior to coming to FGCU, she spent eleven years as an Executive Assistant for Walmart Inc. and seven years in administrative positions for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. She also spent three years at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Office of Research Services.
