Francesco Masala-Martínez started his career as a teaching assistant during his undergraduate studies in Italy. Therefore, after joining the Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of Kentucky in 2012, he obtained his Master of Arts in 2015 and his doctorate in Hispanic Studies with emphasis in Linguistics in 2017. He is currently working on the edited book “YOU think, Therefore I Am: Constructing and (Re)presenting Identity In and Outside Ecuador” which focuses on the representation of Ecuadorians in their country and abroad.
