Gonzalez, Fernando (Ph.D.)
Dr. Gonzalez was a faculty member at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Central Florida then he was performing research as a Computer Science Technical Staff Member for the U.S. Department of Energy at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Afterwards he became a faculty member at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. In 2013 he became a faculty member and in 2022 he became the Chair of the Department of Computing and Software Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida, USA. Dr. Gonzalez research interest includes intelligent agents for the Semantic Web, the intelligent control of large scale autonomous systems, discrete-event modeling and simulation and human signature verification.
