Cara Ryan is a Coordinator II in Academic & Curriculum Support. She has held previous roles as a Financial Aid Advisor and Academic Advisor in Marieb College of Health and Human Services at FGCU. Within the community, Cara serves as the inaugural Vice President of Alianza: Alliance for Hispanic/Latinx Employees at FGCU. Cara previously served in the offices of Graduate Admissions and Continuing Education at both St. Joseph's University, Long Island and Stony Brook University.

Prior to pursuing a career in higher education, Cara served in nonprofit management and managed afterschool and in-school STEAM enrichment programs in NYC Public Schools. She developed assessment polices, teaching-artist trainings, and wrote grants to support these programs. She holds certifications in holistic health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and is a certified yoga instructor (RYT 200 hours).
