Dr. Cindy Farris has taught in nursing education for over 12 years and in higher education for almost 20 years. She holds a PhD in Education with a specialty in nursing education. Dr. Farris has presented at national and regional conferences and has published articles on head and neck cancer, active learning teaching strategies, ACES, and Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. She has further research interest in active learning strategies, teaching perspectives, and effective utilization of nursing students in community-based settings.

  • Clinical with Community Health Nursing students (Florida, Indiana, Tennessee); Clinical with Leadership Nursing Students (Indiana and Tennessee)
