Webb, Alexander (MM)
Alexander is the Coordinator of Music Technology at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Bower School of Music, a position that draws upon his experience as an accomplished athlete, singer/songwriter, producer/engineer, and educator. The determination, aptitude for learning, and problem-solving ability that earned him a scholarship to play quarterback in The Big Ten Conference, when redirected toward his musical passion, resulted in him performing on reputable stages across the U.S. and working in key roles in the record making process. A BA in psychology from Northwestern University and an extensive background in team sports/musical ensembles have molded his ability to add value in collaborative settings. A Master of Music in Music Production degree from industry leading Berklee College of Music along with years of practical experience running his own recording studio have cultivated valuable skills that are assets in artistic and educational endeavors.
