Assistant Dean of Students, Director of Multicultural Leadership Development
Campus Life

COHEN 0285

Alexandra Pipitone serves as the Assistant Dean & Director of the Multicultural & Leadership Development Center. Alex is a proud first-generation Colombian-American and first-generation college graduate. Born and raised in upstate New York, she earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Albany (UA) in Communication and Educational Administration & Policy Studies, respectively. Her time at UA, her identity as a Latina, and 10+ years as a TRIO professional truly shaped her career trajectory in higher education and her passions for student and organizational development, and advocacy of systemically excluded populations. It’s no accident that Alex finds herself in the Campus Life world now; she was highly involved as a student leader in Fuerza Latina, Liga Filipina, Haitian Student Association, & Student Government, to name a few. Fun fact: Alex’s first on-campus job was as a student assistant for the office of Multicultural Student Affairs.
