Dr. Condori grew up in Peru and completed undergraduate studies at University of North
Florida in mathematics and computer science. After becoming more involved with mathematics
competitions, he chose mathematics as a career; to that end, he completed a doctoral
degree in mathematics at Michigan State University in the field of Mathematical Analysis.
Today, he is an Associate Professor and the Graduate Program Coordinator in the mathematics
department at FGCU. He loves to do mathematical research and has a passion for mentoring
motivated students at the undergraduate and graduate levels; in particular, regularly,
he mentors students interested in mathematical challenges (e.g. Virginia Tech competition,
Putnam, etc.) or who are interested in doing mathematical research while completing
their degrees at FGCU.
