Geology
Dr. Barbosa is a geologist, with experience in petrology and geochronoly. Her undergraduate
and graduate research used stables and unstable isotopes to study magmatic and metamorphic
rocks from the Amazon and coastal sediments in Rio de Janeiro.
Since she started working at FGCU she dedicates her time to teaching intro level classes
and focus her scholarship to teaching and learning.
