Admission Requirements
- Students must meet with a college advisor to declare a minor and review the course requirements.
- A grade of C or higher is required for all courses in the minor.
- A minimum of 12 credit hours of the minor must be completed at FGCU.
- Students desiring certification of a minor and designation on their academic transcript must verify that the minor is displayed on their Graduation Application.
Program Requirements
Complete the following:
- ENG 3014 Methods of Lit & Cult Studies (3)
Complete one of the following:
- CRW 2001 Intro to Creative Writing (3)
- CRW 2732 Introduction to Nature Writing (3)
Complete one of the following:
- CRW 3111 Narrative Techniques (3)
- CRW 3311 Poetic Techniques (3)
Complete one of the following:
- CRW 4120 Advanced Fiction Writing (3)
- CRW 4930 Spec Topics - Creative Writing (3)
Complete one of the following:
- 3000-4999 level AML, ENG, ENL or LIT course (3)
Complete any additional CRW course 3000-4999 that has not been used to fulfill a requirement above (3)
Total Semester Hours Required: 18 Hours
