The Center provides programs and materials that stimulate interest and promote public awareness of local and global issues related to science, environment, engineering and mathematics.

The Whitaker Center works with all types of students in K-20 STEM education environments to engage them in inquiry, interdisciplinary learning, and research experiences.

The 2022 Showcase Undergraduate Research and Internship Symposium (SURIS) was held on Friday, December 9th from 3:00PM-5:30PM. Outdoor posters were on display on the lawn and breezeway of the academic buildings. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the research accomplishments of our students. Participants had the opportunity to speak with presenters about their research during the in-person poster session.
